It’s so nice to e-meet you . I am Ria :)

I am a designer and storyteller, but always a researcher at heart. My Bachelor’s in Interior Design taught me how space, form, and human behavior intertwine; my Master’s in Product Design sharpened those instincts into a toolkit for building end-to-end experiences that feel both inevitable and delightfully surprising. Today I move fluidly between digital and physical realms, taking products from zero → one through rigorous design research, systems-level thinking, and a love for narrative.

Discover — Diverge
Design research through field interviews, contextual audits, and trend scans to surface fresh questions and unexpected insights.

Define — Converge
Insight & strategy: synthesize patterns, frame opportunity areas, and craft a north-star vision the whole team can rally around.

Develop — Diverge
Ideation & prototype: run co-creation workshops, rapid sketch-storms, and build low-fidelity mocks to explore multiple paths.

Deliver — Converge
Test, launch & learn: validate with usability sessions and pilot builds, ship the refined solution, measure real-world impact, and feed the learnings back into the next iteration.

My sweet spot is the messy middle: facilitating workshops, leading co-creation sprints, and translating raw insights into clear product strategy that teams can rally around.

I’ve applied this approach across medtech, branding, and experience design—shaping everything from intuitive UX flows to full-scale spatial prototypes. Whether I’m mapping service ecosystems or testing an early prototype with users, I’m obsessed with conversations that surface hidden needs and spark collective aha-moments.

Outside the studio, you’ll catch me chasing sunsets, experimenting in the kitchen, hosting a monthly carrom club in NYC, and jumping into whatever new art class, pop-up, or neighborhood adventure the city throws my way.
